The Little Britain Challenge Cup (LBCC), held at Shepards Wharf Marina in Cowes, is renowned as the property and construction industry's top sailing regatta, and the event brings together hundreds of people from the industry to race, network and fund-raise for charities. LBCC 2017
This year, the Little Britain Challenge Cup celebrated its 30th anniversary and the regatta took place over Friday 15th and Saturday 16th September 2017.New Location
The hot news for 2017 is that LBCC was based at Shepards Wharf Marina in Cowes for the first time, and enjoyed the Marina's refurbished facilities, the popular Sugar Store Clubhouse and the superb views out over the River Medina and into the Solent. Racing
The Island Sailing Club's race management team ran the LBCC racing. Novice crews and experienced teams were able to sail different courses, and by popular request, committee boat starts were introduced for all classes as well as passage racing for the cruising fleet.Networking opportunities
After each day's racing, competitors socialised on the Shepards Pier or in the Marina bar at Shepards Wharf's Clubhouse in The Sugar Store. There were live bands, DJs and great food offers for everyone to enjoy.Event entry
